This syllabus is tentative and the professor reserves the right to make any changes at any time as he sees fit. Each student is expected to bring five relevant articles from technical journals (e.g., Journal of Herpetology, Herpetologica, Nature, etc.--NOT from “popular” magazines such as National Geographic, International Wildlife, etc.), which will be donated to the research station at the end of your stay. These articles should focus on tropical herpetology and should reflect your own individual interests. Your presentations may be based on the papers you bring, or on any articles you find in the limited (but growing) library at the field station. I encourage you to e-mail me if you have any questions or comments. Please also remember that I am here to help you at any time with any problems you may have. ¡Pura vida!
